WELCOME

Welcome to the Washington DC Metro fellowship of Sex Addicts Anonymous® (SAA). As a fellowship of recovering addicts, Sex Addicts Anonymous® offers a message of hope to anyone who suffers from sex addiction. The Washington DC metro fellowship has about 40 meetings in over 20 locations in Virginia, Maryland and Delaware.

Please take a look at our meeting locator for specific location and contact information.

Sex Addicts Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so they may overcome their sexual addiction and help others recover from sexual addiction or dependency. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop compulsive sexual behavior. There are no dues or fees for SAA membership; we are fully self-supporting through our own contributions.1

Sex Addicts Anonymous® is not allied with any sect, denomination, political organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes.

Sex Addicts Anonymous® is not sex therapy or group therapy. Its primary purpose is to achieve abstinence from compulsive sexual behaviors and to help other sex addicts become abstinent. The basic principles of recovery practiced by SAA are found in the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. Although we are not affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous or with any other organization or agency, we are, indeed, grateful for permission to modify and apply the AA Steps and Traditions to sex addiction, making recovery possible for us.

If you are visiting our site for the first time, we encourage you to read the Newcomer's Letter.
